About This Blog

This blog provides periodic updates of U.S. agricultural missions to various foreign markets. In today's global economy, it is imperative that American ag producers understand the challenges and opportunities they face as they market their products around the world. It is equally valuable for American farmers to learn more about the market dynamics that govern their fellow producers in other parts of the world.

By better understanding the operations, policies and future plans of producers and governments around the world, American farmers are better able to compete. Additionally, the relationships built during these missions can lead to collaboration and cooperation that will be necessary in order for the world's farmers to provide food, fuel, feed and fiber to a growing population.
